OOH I LIKE THIS!
So a car was recently uncovered in an excavation. The car was a two door sports car with the mirrors oddly placed on the front fenders. The car was visibly burnt and melted around the exterior. The ground around the car was black and almost glass like in certain areas. For full credit, name the car, the type of rock it was discovered in, what most likely happened to the car, and where in the world could this happen.

A 240z got encased in magma which solidified into obsidian. This could happen near a divergent plate boundary or a hot spot. Iceland. Hawaii.
Either that or it fell into an anthracite coal mine and burst into flames.
